The National Final of the IX edition in Lithuania took place in June 5, 2019 in divisions of Moletai Area Museum (Lake Fishery Museum, Antanas Truskauskas Hunting and Nature Exhibition). The contest was organized by Aukstaitija National Park. This year we had 14 groups of young forest friends from Vilnius, Kaunas, Raseiniai, Kedainiai, Jurbarkas, Marijampole, Anyksiai, Ignalina and Prienai regions. The commission was assessing the performance of teams by giving prizes as well as advises for every group of performers. The first place nomination was given to Prienai “Ziburys” gymnasium, the group members being Ugnė Karpavičiūtė, Paulina Mozūraitė, Airida Vaikšnytė and biology teacher Rasa Kučinskienė.

Thanks to all finalists and their teachers, which year by year motivate more students to be a member of this contest.
